The success of our customers is fundamental to us, and we want to make sure that new aircraft operations get started on the right foot. As each new Twin Otter Series 400 aircraft is prepared for delivery, our dedicated team works closely with operators to create the conditions for a successful entry-into-service. Among others, Viking’s new aircraft support program covers:
Flight and Maintenance Training
Viking offers world-class pilot and technician training to ensure that aircraft will be operated and maintained safely and effectively.
Aircraft Ferry Services
Viking offers the services of its specially qualified crews to ferry the new aircraft from the factory to a customer’s operating location, anywhere in the world.
In-Field Technical Support
Viking’s experienced pilots and Field Service Representatives can provide customers with support, advice and mentoring at a customer’s operating location. The duration of this support can be tailored to a customer’s specific needs.
Initial Provisioning
To ensure that the right parts and equipment are at hand at the right time, the Entry-Into-Service team works with operators of new Twin Otter Series 400 aircraft to design a package of spare parts, consumable items, tools, test and calibration instruments, and ground support equipment. These initial provisioning packages are offered at discounted rates and are only available during the Entry-Into-Service phase.
Warranty Services
Viking and its partners provide new aircraft customers with warranty services covering the airframe, engine, avionics and propeller system.
Technical Publications
Viking and its partners provide the new aircraft owner with all of the manuals and technical information required to operate and maintain the aircraft according to applicable regulations.
