About Viking Air Ltd.

Headquartered in Victoria, BC, Viking is the global leader in utility aircraft services, and the manufacturer of the world-renowned Series 400 Twin Otter. Viking is the Original Type Certificate holder for all out-of-production de Havilland aircraft, DHC-1 through the DHC-7, and provides exclusive spare parts manufacturing and product support for the legacy de Havilland fleet. In 2016, Viking acquired the Type Certificates (manufacturing rights) for the Canadair CL-215, CL215T, and CL-415 aircraft. With this transfer, Viking assumed responsibility for all product support for the global fleet of 170 aerial firefighters.

Viking Corporate Logos

Which file to use?

  • Always use the colour files if possible. If not, use the file that provides the highest level of contrast (black on a light background, or white on a dark background).
  • The PDF files are most desirable to use in many situations because they are vector-based and infinitely scaleable. This means you could create a 50 foot logo or a 1 inch logo, and all the edges would be smooth and accurate. This also means the PDF files are best to insert in print documents. By contrast, the JPEG and PNG files are useful for on-screen display when the logo is showing no larger than the files provided. JPEGs have a background (white or black) showing around the logo, whereas PNG files have transparent backgrounds.

File Options:

PDF: Used for print items or screen display. These are vector files which can be resized or enlarged.
JPG: Used for screen display with a white background. Sometimes JPGs large print-quality can be used for Power Point or Word docs
PNG: Used for screen display with a transparent background

Colour Options:

CMYK: Used for digital printing
RGB: Used for screen display

To download, right click the desired file format and colour option, then click "Save as".
