What to Expect
Upon request, Viking offers complimentary group tours of its corporate headquarters in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada to provide guests a unique opportunity to experience first-hand our operations. The tour usually takes about two hours, and includes a welcome orientation presentation to provide background on Viking and our aircraft products, followed by an interactive Q&A session. Once guests are satisfied that their questions have been answered, they are taken on a walking tour of our main corporate headquarters, manufacturing facility, and aircraft maintenance hangar. This tour program allows guests to get a better understanding of who we are, what we do, and what is unique about the aircraft we manufacture and support around the globe—all from our main base at Victoria International Airport.
Viking also provides student tours to local post-secondary institutions such as Camosun College, the University of Victoria and senior high school programs.
Please note that tours are generally scheduled on Fridays upon request. Tour bookings must be made at least two weeks in advance.
Due to safety concerns, children under 13 years of age are not permitted in the production facility.
Pets are not permitted on the tours with the exception of Certified guide dogs.
Preparing for your Visit
- You must wear fully closed shoes (i.e. sandles, flip-flops, opened heeled shoes, etc. are not permitted on the shop floor). We operate an industrial facility and your safety is our top priority.
- Guests are expected to wear earplugs and safety goggles at all times on the shop floor -- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) will be provided.
- Please do not bring any personal belongings. Viking does not have facilities or lockers to store additional items.

When can I visit Viking's facility?
Tours are offered by request on Fridays at Viking's Victoria location. Please provide at least two weeks advanced notice to book your group.
How much notice do I have to give to book a tour?
Please submit your booking request for a group tour at least two weeks in advance. For groups of up to 25 people, booking requests must be submitted and approved in advance (subject to availability).
How many people can I bring?
We accept group tours of up to 25 people.

What if a tour needs to be cancelled?
Logistics are handled by email correspondence; however, we may need to contact you via telephone. Please provide a cell number for your main contact. Should you need to cancel your booking, please let us know at your earliest convenience.
Is there somewhere to store my belongings while I'm on the tour?
Please do not bring any personal belongings such as valuables, backpacks and jackets. Viking does not have facilities or lockers to store additional items. For safety reasons, you cannot carry large belongings with you on the tour.
Is your facility accessible for mobility challenged individuals?
The tour does involve accessing areas by stairs; however, there is an elevator and alternate access point should a guest be mobility challenged. Please indicate in advance if anyone in your group is mobility challenged.
Can I take photos?
Photos are not permitted in the production areas. However, group photos and/or facilitiy photos can be provided upon request.
Is there a gift shop?
Viking has merchandise available for purchase through our company giftshop. However, advanced notice is appreciated if you intend to make a purchase.
Can I tour the Calgary facility?
Tours of our Calgary facility are provided to industry professionals on a limited basis upon request. Please inquiry for more information.
