What's the Twin Otter's performance like?
The Twin Otter’s field performance is outstanding. With an all engine TOD performance to 50ft under normal wheeled operations of 1,490ft, the aircraft is 45% better than the Grand Caravan, 20% better than the LET410 and 13% better than the Dornier 228NG. In addition, the Twin Otter is the only commercial utility turbine to offer a STOL performance capability with take-off distance of 1,200ft.
