Job Description:  

Summary of Functions

Provide customers, suppliers and guests with courteous and effective reception services whether in person or by phone.

 

Major Duties and Responsibilities: Receptionist

  • Answering of phones and distribution of calls and messages in a courteous, respectful and helpful manner.
  • Friendly and positive greeting of any vistors to the facility and the following guest protocol (safety, FOD, etc)
  • Coordinate booking of rooms and facilities for meetings.
  • Retrieval and sorting of the daily mail for various departments.
  • Organization, security (as to loose valuables) and cleanliness of reception area.
  • Spares quoting and order management.

Qualifications:

  • Work independantly and be highly organized.
  • Excellent customer service, interpersonal and problem solving skills.
  • A strong attention to detail and a high degree of professionalism.
  • Excellent written/oral communication skills.
  • Forward thinker/ Anticipates needs/ Inquisitive/ Resourceful.
  • Competent in the use of Microsoft Office Products.
