AIRCRAFT STRUCTURE TECHNICIANS

Location: Victoria Airport, BC
Wage: $14.22-$29.21/hour plus benefits and premiums depending on experience.
Responsibilities:
- Shear, form and fabricate parts and components to drawing specifications using specialized shop equipment.
- Drill, ream, countersink and dimple holes for fastener installation
- Assemble parts, components and sub-assemblies using special jigs and fixtures.
- Assemble parts, components and sub-assemblies using special fasteners and/or adhesives and sealants.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited post secondary aviation training institution.
- Possession of a BC or Interprovincial Journeyman Designation as an Aircraft Structural Technician is an asset.
- Aircraft Sheetmetal or assembly experience is an asset.
- Must be proficient in the interpretation of mechanical drawings and aircraft assembly procedures/Technical specifications.
- Must be proficient in the English language.
- Attention to detail and an enjoyment of precise work is a must.
