Position: Aircraft Mechanic (AME) - Avionics and Electronics
Department: Manufacturing -Final Assembly

Location: Calgary, Alberta
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
All Aircraft Mechanics-Avionics and Electronics shall:
Follow the policies and procedures laid out in the Company's Transport Canada Approved Maintenance Policy Manual to ensure the Company is in full compliance with the current Canadian Aviation Regulations;
Be responsible to their assigned Charge Hand;
Dismantle, inspect, record discrepancies, recommend and record methods of repair;
Repair, fabricate parts and components;
Install, rig and carry out all other mechanical and structural functions as they relate to avionics and electrical systems and test in accordance with manufacturer's specifications;
For those AME's possessing certifying authority, perform and or certify work performed within the scope of this Aircraft Maintenance Organization;
Maintain a clean work area, and alert the Supervisor of any safety concerns;
Perform other work as assigned.
Qualifications/Experience or Educational Requirements:
Aircraft Mechanic Levels 1 through 3 shall:
Aircraft Mechanic Learner Levels 1 through 8 shall:
- Shall carry out some or all of the duties of an Aircraft Mechanic - Avionics and Electronics, but under the direct supervision of an Aircraft Mechanic.
