Major Duties and Responsibilities:
All Aircraft Mechanics-Avionics and Electronics shall:
- Follow the policies and procedures laid out in the Company's Transport Canada Approved Maintenance Policy Manual to ensure company is in full compliance with the current Canadian Aviation Regulations;
- Be responsilbe to their assigned Charge Hand;
- Dismantle, inspect, record discrepancies, recommend and record methods of repair;
- Repair, fabricate parts and components;
- Install, rig and carry out all other mechanical and structural functions and test in accordance with manufacturer's specifications;
- Ensure that all applicable standards of airwothiness are met;
- Maintain a clean work area, and alert the Supervisor of any safety concerns;
- Responsivle for ensuring both accuracy and traceability of parts removed or installed on Aircraft;
- For those AME's possessing certifying authority, perform and/or certify work performed within the scope of this Aircraft Maintenance Organization;
- Peform any other work assigned.
